Red Rocks Worship
The dictionary defines “worship” as reverent honor and homage paid to God. Christians believe that as much possible, everything we do should be an act of worship to God. In this case, we’re talking about music as worship, and that is a big part of Red Rocks Church. We sing old hymns, new songs, and everything in between. We even write some of our own music! Music helps us to focus on and think about God. Music draws us to Him. Music reminds us of His attributes. Music reinforces truths we are taught, and worship in our church services serves as a response to God after hearing a message from His word. Throughout the Bible, we are commanded to worship God, and we take seriously the command of Psalm 100 to make a joyful noise to the Lord!
