What Others Have Said About RRC ::
"I used to attend church on a regular basis during my years in high school and prior to that as well, however I would attend because my friends were there. As a result, I never truly took much out of church during those years. When I left for college, I lost all connections with God and even began doubting heavily whether He was real. I recently moved to the Denver area about 6 months ago. Through word of mouth, I learned of Red Rocks Church. Reluctantly, I decided to check it out, however I was still harboring many doubts. The words and messages that have been shared by all of the staff have brought me to turn my life around and start in a new direction. Everyone that I’ve met there have been some of the most genuine people I’ve met in Colorado thus far. I now attend on a regular basis and would do anything to help the church continue, as I know that there are many others just like me who are harboring doubts about God and Jesus, and just need a little guidance…a little nudge in the right direction. Red Rocks Church have helped me correct my life, without any doubts in my mind."
"Since beginning to attend Red Rocks Church, I have been more inspired in my worship than I ever have before. I've been up and down and up and down in the certainty of my faith. I have some rough years behind me and there have definitely been times when I was absolutely directionless. Now, I look forward to Sunday mornings all week long, then, I'm always so disappointed when service is over. The music is getting better and better. The Message is being presented in such an interesting and unique way. And those of you who deliver the sermons have nailed it on the head over and over again. Everything just makes SENSE. The words are finally clicking in a way that relates to my concerns, my generation, and my life. There have been very few Sunday mornings when I haven't been moved to tears by the Message, the music, or the stories. We are all so blessed for having RRC now. You and everyone running the church are doing a wonderful job. It makes me so very happy to be a part of it."
"Today was really cool! It was very different than anything I had ever gone to or experienced. It really gave me a different way of looking at things and helped me to realize that God is not altogether bad. I am planning on coming next week also."
"I have never felt more connected to a church than I have with Red Rocks. Since I have been in attendance, my walk with God has been stronger than ever and I truly feel like I have a family within the church (and I know that that is how God intended the church to be!!!!) Pastor Shawn and his family, as well as all of the other Pastors at Red Rocks have impacted my life so much already, and it's crazy to think that our journey has just begun. I wish I could send a thank you letter to whomever sent these wonderful people to Denver-- But really the only one we can give the credit to is the big guy upstairs!!!! So I will continue my walk with God at Red Rocks Church, and I thank God everyday for blessing me with this church and the wonderful pastors and people that I will forever call my family!!!"
"I attended Red Rocks last week and thought everything about it was great. It was so nice to go to a church and actually be greeted and have a real conversation with people. My family and I, along with some of my friends, look forward to returning again this weekend. I have been in search of a church home and feel fortunate to have been invited to Red Rocks. Thanks for making me feel so welcome. See you Sunday."
"I am pleased to announce that red rocks Church has been selected for the 2008 Best of Golden Award in the Places of Worship category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA)."
"When I moved from Minnesota 3 years ago, I half-heartedly looked for a church home. It was not an easy task as back in MN, I attended a church which is very special to me. This, the church I grew up at, was where I spent every Wednesday night at choir practice and every Sunday morning attending at least one service (two if the choir was singing)! A church where my uncle happened to be the head Pastor, a church where every Sunday I got to see my whole family (extended included) and my many friends who I was in choir with or attended camp with over the years. In my mind I would not be able to find any place that would compare to Mount Olivet. Needless to say it was a hard transition moving to Colorado and trying to find a place to worship out here. In fact, my uncle told me before I moved, "Don't try to find a Mount Olivet in Colorado, look for something different." About 2 years after we moved I have found just that! Worshiping at Red Rocks is an ENTIRELY different experience for me than worshiping at Mount Olivet. You see, I come to Red Rocks to worship. Not because I have to either, I want to! Not because I get to see my cousins cute little kids, or my best church friend is going to be there, or because uncle Paul is preaching- I come because I want to hear the message and let God speak through you all to me."
"You may not know us, but we've been coming to the church for approximately 2 years and we felt that we needed to tell you all how blessed we are to be apart of this church. This staff truly displays the heart of Christ, which is demonstrated by the messages you preach, the music that is played and selected, how you pour your time and efforts into the children's programs, everything else that you do and how you truly accept anyone who walks in the door. This past Sunday was amazing. We both actually felt the excitement as soon as we hit the parking lot at the event center in Belmar. We knew that the Holy Spirit had already begun to move. We felt so privileged and honored to be apart of this church, even though at that moment we were sitting in chairs. The message, the music, the work that you put into each Sunday is so appreciated. We pray for each of you daily and appreciate everything that you are doing for this community."
"I have recently been attending your church, having heard great things about it from several sources. I just wanted to thank you guys, because it truly has been a major blessing in my life every time I have been able to make it your services. God really has been using you guys to speak to me as I figure out my life, and restart it, quite honestly, at age twenty one. The last message, about 2007, prompted me to write this email, because that was my year in a nutshell. Most definitely it was a year I will never forget, but not a year I have fond memories of at all, and the message really spoke to me, gave me some much needed perspective on my year, and my life in general. Thank you guys so much! I also write because I've been feeling compelled to share what I've been through, in hopes that maybe you guys can use it, or maybe it can encourage someone out there. With major help from God, I survived a a fairly serious suicide attempt in 2007, and have come out of the ordeal with a stronger and clearer vision of life in general. As a result, I have hopes and dreams of one day becoming a youth pastor, maybe even a full fledged pastor. If either of you could spare some time to talk to me about any of this, I would be honored. Any advice would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for preaching what God wants me to hear. God bless you guys."
"My fiancé and I have been attending Red Rocks Church since the very first service. Our experience there has been nothing but wonderful. We look forward to Sunday mornings all week long. Then we get disappointed when the service is over and we have to wait a whole week long to come back again! We have met so many new friends. Pastor Shawn, along with the rest of the Red Rocks Church staff, has been such an inspirational blessing to us. There are so many fun events, weekly meetings, and activities to become involved in. Sean and I finally feel excited and at home in a place of worship."
