Colorado Community Connect works on behalf of The McDonnell Family Foundation to support non-profit organizations in the Denver area.  The purpose of CCC is to partner with individuals to change lives through community enrichment programs.  It is our goal to facilitate community awareness and involvement, in addition to providing fulfilling volunteer opportunities.

The Adoption Exchange::

The Adoption Exchange is a non-profit, child welfare organization founded in 1983 to work for safety and permanence in the lives of foster children.  Their mission is to provide the connection between children who wait and families who adopt. The Adoption Exchange envisions a world in which all children are valued and grow up in safe and permanent families, and where families are supported in their critical roles.

Voices For Children::

Voices For Children:  Recruits & trains volunteers to work as CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates) who advocate for and provide service to child victims of abuse and neglect.  This organization is based in Boulder and serves Boulder County.

The Arc::

The Arc in Jefferson County provides advocacy and training for children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families, who live in Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin Counties. Our advocacy ensures that people with developmental disabilities have appropriate support in their schools and their community. We work to protect the rights of people with developmental disabilities, to facilitate choices, and to promote independence and inclusion in community life.

The Joy House::

Joy House is a Christian-based, transformational home that offers help and healing to low-income abused women and children who are leaving domestic violence situations and seeking to rebuild their lives.  The goal is to provide a safe haven for women of all races & backgrounds to move from dependence on welfare to self-sufficiency; and, enjoy stable, fulfilling lives and a nurturing home for their children.

The Limb Preservation Foundation::

The Limb Preservation Foundation is a charitable organization that was established in 1987.  Their mission is to support the prevention and treatment of limb-threatening conditions due to trauma, tumor or infection.  The Foundation funds patient assistance treatment programs, public and professional education programs, and research with the goal of finding the cause and the cure for extremity diseases.

Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center::

Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center: Located in Longmont, CO, the Riding Center serves adults & children with disabilities through therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, and other programs.

Save Our Youth:: 

SOY transforms the lives of at-risk youth through mentor relationships providing the skills for success in educational, emotional, and spiritual development.  The goals of Save Our Youth are three-fold:

  • Educational Development: Improve youth’s connection and commitment to school.
  • Emotional Development: Improve youth’s connection and commitment to their mentor, other adults, and their peers.
  • Spiritual Development: Improve youth’s connection and commitment to community.
