Red Rocks Leadership College

What is it?

To develop the call God has put on your life to pursue church ministry

The purpose of the Red Rocks Leadership College (formerly the Internship Program) is focused on developing the call God has put on your life to pursue church ministry. Our goal is to then help deploy you towards the path God may be leading you. Through this process you will grow as a leader, a person, and as a follower of Christ. This program will provide ministry training and experience as well as leadership and spiritual development.

Applications are CLOSED for the 2019-2020 program. Applications for the 2020-2021 program will open in mid-December.

How does it work?

Red Rocks Leadership College believes that effective and sustainable ministry begins by developing a heart for God’s house at the local church level. With this in mind, we have shifted the program from ministry-specific to campus-specific, meaning students will work with multiple departments at one campus throughout the year instead of in just one ministry. We believe this allows students to gain a broad understanding of ministry at large, and how their gifts and skills fit into the context of the local church.

Students spend 9 months at a Red Rocks Church Campus developing skills and gaining competency in all areas of ministry. Being a part of a campus team gives immersive training in areas of ministry such as kids, life groups, operations, production, serve teams, worship, youth, young adults, etc. Students will also assist in all events such as worship nights, prayer nights, conferences, baptisms, etc.

Degree-Seeking And Non-Degree-Seeking Paths

Red Rocks Leadership College offers two different tracks – a degree-seeking student and a non-degree-seeking student.

  • Degree-Seeking: Red Rocks Leadership College Students will have the ability to gain an Associate of Arts, Associate of Ministerial Leadership or Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership through our partnership with Southeastern University.
  • Non-Degree-Seeking: This is for students who have already earned a college degree or are not interested earning a degree.

Both degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking RRLC students will get the same hands-on ministry experience, leadership development, and spiritual enrichment that the program has always offered. The accredited college aspect of our program is simply an option for those who are interested, but not a necessity.
