Love Your Neighbor

Not living near a Red Rocks Campus or unable to get out to serve? Join us in our "Love Your Neighbor" event and find ways to serve someone in your local community! Below are some ideas to get you started!

  • Write an encouragement or appreciation letter to a teacher, veteran, front line worker, medical professional, or someone you don’t know
  • Send flowers or a gift basket to someone
  • Make and deliver hygiene kits or food to the homeless
  • Provide a meal or groceries to someone in need
  • Pay for someone’s meal or drink at a drive-through
  • Help your neighbor with indoor or outdoor work around their home (mow lawn, rake leaves, household chores, cleaning, etc...)
  • Leave snacks/drinks for your local delivery person
  • Invite your neighbor over for dinner
  • Leave a generous tip for a server or private transportation driver (Uber, Lyft, etc..)

Walk With Me

Keepsake Kits Event

Walk With Me is devoted to giving practical, financial, and emotional support to families who are learning to live in the wake of their child’s death prior to or shortly after birth.

For the past few years we have had the opportunity to help Walk With Me put Keepsake Kits together for families who have recently lost a child and we are blessed to be able to support them again. These bags contain items such as hand & foot print molds, journals, seed packs, and other items that best support the family.

Join us on Monday, August 2nd from 6-9PM at the Lakewood or Littleton campus as we create kits to give to families. Click on the campus closest to you to sign up and serve with us!

Mobile Loaves and Fishes is a social outreach ministry that has been empowering communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless since 1998. One of the ways they do this is by providing housing and meaningful employment to Austin’s homeless population and we are honored to have the chance to serve in their community.

Join us on Friday, August 6th from 8am-11am for a Community Serve Day as we help with landscaping, property beautification, and other activities in this amazing community.

Stepping Stone Support Center works as a ‘stepping stone’ to provide more independence for adults with developmental disabilities.

Join us on Friday, August 6th from 5:30pm-8:30pm for the Stepping Stones Talent Show! Participants with disability will be performing for a fun night of singing, dancing, joke telling, and so much more! Volunteers will have the opportunity to help facilitate the talent show by serving food and refreshments, socializing with attendees and participants, and potentially buddying up with performers for the night. You don't want to miss out on this one, it will be a magical night!

Colorado Uplift is focused on building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth. 

Join us for their annual BIG Lift event on Saturday, August 7th from 8am-3pm. The BIG Lift is an opportunity for our city to come together and impact communities in need through volunteer service. Groups of volunteers will be working on various projects ranging from cleaning up community gardens to removing trash from neighborhood parks in the city of Denver.

Join us on Saturday, August 7th from 9am-12pm as we clean the Shiloh House school and company vehicles to provide a sanitary and clean environment for the Shiloh House staff and students.

Side by Side Kids is the only free, faith-based after-school program in East Austin. Their mission is to inspire and equip kids in East Austin to be excellent students, make wise choices, and follow Christ.

We are partnering with Side By Side Kids to distribute backpacks and school supplies to students from JJ Pickle and TA Brown Elementary. This isn’t just a distribution though, this is a party! We will have fun activities for the kids and families to celebrate the return to school after a really tough last year. Come help bless these awesome families!

The Source is a full-service women’s health clinic empowering women with better choices.

Help us get the word out about how our partners at The Source are serving women in our area.  We are looking for volunteers to hand out cards and have conversations to share the free resources the Source offers with moms and women in general in our area.

The Refuge Ranch

The Refuge Ranch, is a long-term, residential, therapeutic community for minor girls through age 19 who have been recovered from sex traffickers. The Refuge Ranch is the largest long-term, live-in rehabilitation facility for child survivors of sex trafficking in the United States.

We are rallying a team on August 7th to serve our wonderful partners at the Refuge Ranch with a work day to help with projects like gardening, tree planting and groundskeeping. We will meet at the Red Rocks Austin campus and then head to the location. Click the link to sign-up!

Save our Youth is a youth development organization providing at-risk youth with educational, emotional, and spiritual skills for success through long-term mentoring relationships.

Red Rocks Church is participating in the annual Save Our Youth Backpack Drive where we fill backpacks with school supplies for youth students in need. Join us in supporting Save Our Youth by printing off a tag, filling a backpack with school supplies, and bringing it to a Denver based campus during one of our weekend services!

CASA of Travis County exists to promote and protect the best interest of children who have been abused or neglected, by training volunteers to advocate for them in courts, in schools, and in our community to help them find safe, permanent, and loving homes.

Help us bring comfort and joy to children dealing with abuse and neglect in Travis County. We are kicking off CASA’s holiday drive early this year to collect $30 gift cards to Walmart or Target. Drop off gift cards at church on August 1st or 8th before or after services!

CityServe is a collaborative network designed to help local churches create greater impact and offer hope in the name of Jesus. They mobilize the church to fulfill its purpose locally and globally.

Join us as we collect supplies for foster families through CityServe's All In for Foster Adoption Donation Drive! Supplies include: 

  • Hygiene products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, and toothpaste)
  • Comb or brush
  • Clothing (new)
  • Non-perishable food
  • Household goods (kitchenware, electronics, bedding, tools, etc...)

Teacher Appreciation Event

Schools are at the heart of the community and teachers are at its center. Teachers are always pouring into their students, including spending much of their own resources on supplies. We are so grateful for teachers and the work they put in each and every day to support and educate students. As a way to say thank you, Red Rocks Church will be blessing 200 teachers across Denver with free supplies this year!

Save Our Youth

Save our Youth is a youth development organization providing at-risk youth with educational, emotional, and spiritual skills for success through long-term mentoring relationships.

Join us for the annual Save Our Youth Back to School Party on Saturday, August 7th from 9am-1pm! This is an awesome event where kids can come and spend time with their mentor, eat some delicious food, hear the Gospel, and have fun in the summer sun playing sports outside! The kids of Save Our Youth also get to come and pick out a brand new backpack filled with supplies to set them up for success for the upcoming school year. The backpacks at this event are collected as a congregation from the Red Rocks Church Annual Backpack Drive. Volunteers will help with set-up/tear-down, registration, backpack distribution, grilling, playing sports with kiddos and mentors, and photography.

Join us on Wednesday, August 4th from 5pm-8:30pm as we host a HopeKids Movie Night at the Park Meadows campus! Volunteers will help set-up, serve food and drinks, and hang with the kids as we watch a movie and do crafts!

Hope House is metro-Denver’s only resource providing free self-sufficiency programs to parenting teen moms, including Residential, High School & GED, and College & Career Programs.

Join us on Wednesday, August 4th from 6pm-7:30pm for our Hope House Teen Mom Care Packs Event. Volunteers will be compiling care baskets full of essentials for each of the moms currently in the program and also any new single teen mom entering the program.
