Millions of shoeboxes are collected each year. Before these special gifts can bring hope and joy to children around the world, each one has to be carefully inspected and made ready for overseas shipment by volunteers like you. You can help prepare shoeboxes for delivery by volunteering at a processing center. About 80,000 volunteers serve annually at our eight processing centers across the United States.
We have opportunities at the processing centers for volunteer groups of all sizes. You can volunteer as an individual or with family and friends. All volunteers must be at least 13 years of age, regardless of a student’s grade level. Due to the warehouse environment we can allow no exceptions to this age requirement. At least one chaperone 18 years of age or older for every four youth is required (youth volunteers include any volunteers between the ages of 13-17.)
If you have any questions regarding Processing Center volunteer opportunities, do not hesitate to contact OCC at [email protected] or 800-442-9120.
This Christmas we are collecting shoes for students from JJ Pickle and TA Brown Elementary Schools. On November 28th we will have ornaments in the lobby with the specific information for each pair of shoes needed. We will then be collecting all of the shoes in the lobby on Sunday December 5th before and after services!
Denver Dream Center’s vision is to bring hope to the hopeless. They are a community of resilient people whose lives have been redeemed by God’s love; who share that love with others to transform and restore broken lives to wholeness.
Join us for Christmas in the City on December 18th at Coors Field! This fun-filled day is an opportunity for the community to come together to love on the families Denver Dream Center serves. Families in need from around the Denver area will come to receive Christmas presents, shop the Merry Market, and enjoy some hot chocolate and music! Volunteers will have the opportunity to serve 4-hour shifts in three areas:
- Hype Crew: Volunteers will help us keep guests entertained while they are waiting in line. We are looking for people to dress up in elf costumes, Christmas sweaters, like snowmen, etc... We would love for you to get the guests to sing, dance, and more. This group will help us bring in Christmas Cheer!
- Merry Market: We have multiple stations at the merry market: check-in, hot chocolate, coats, gift wrapping, shopping, kids and so much more. More details will be sent closer to the event.
- Santa's Elves: Help connect families to the volunteers who adopted them and create a fun Christmas experience.
Interested in supporting a family for Christmas? Click the "Adopt A Family" link to purchase Christmas presents for a child. On December 18th, you will be able to meet the families and deliver it to them at Coors Field. Denver Dream Center is planning on serving more than 3,000 children at this event! We hope you will join us!

God Behind Bars partners with churches to transform the lives of prison inmates and their families. Red Rocks Church partners with GBB to stream the weekend messages and worship experience into our partnering prisons. Our GBB campuses offer dynamic live worship experiences, opportunities for recovery from addiction, resources for re-entry into society, and ongoing support after release. One community at a time, one person at a time, we’re partnering with God to make a difference behind bars.
God Behind Bars has reopened to new volunteers! Click on the links to learn more about GBB and how to get involved!
Not living near a Red Rocks Campus or unable to get out to serve? Join us in our "Love Your Neighbor" event and find ways to serve someone in your local community! Below are some ideas to get you started!

Red Rocks Outreach
Each year Red Rocks Church gives away 10% of all giving to invest in ministry outside of Red Rocks Church. We partner with many national and international organizations to help with food relief, well and water projects, the fight against sex trafficking, and more! While we have been able to give to initiatives all across the globe, we believe that we can make an even bigger difference in our local community through an effort to mobilize our church to serve those who are hurting the most.
Red Rocks Outreach is an opportunity for Red Rocks Church to come alongside local, national, and international ministries who are doing amazing work all around the world. You can find local service opportunities at your campus or learn about how to get involved with some of our other partners!
Through Red Rocks Outreach, we want to make Jesus known by creating compelling opportunities to love others through service. We hope you’ll join us!
