Serve by creating a warm, welcoming, and safe environment at each campus for weekend services.

Cafe
If you know your way around a French Press, an espresso machine, or even a Mr. Coffee, then get up and get brewing on the Cafe Team! As a member of the Cafe Team, you bring the energy, the sugar, and the Holy Spirit to service!

Position Tasks
- Brew coffee and tea for service on a weekly basis using the materials and tools provided at the campus.
- Set up cafe stations and hand deliver the hot java/tea to the people in need.
- Monitor, clean, and refill coffee stations as needed before service starts.
- Clean and dry all coffee tools and containers to ensure they are ready for the next service.
- Help set up and tear down any additional food or drinks for events, special services, etc.

Facilities
If your favorite shows were Home Improvement, Bob the Builder, or anything on HGTV, then we’ve got a spot for you on the Facilities Team. Be hands on and work behind the scenes getting the building ready for service.
More Details
Our Facilities Team uses all 5 senses to steward our physical building and environment to create a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for anyone entering the facility, both inside and out.
Position Tasks
- Clean up and collect trash in the parking lots, entrances, bathrooms and everywhere in between.
- Help with snow removal in the winter, leaf pick up in the fall, and any other seasonal messes that may arise.
- Monitor and refill toiletries in bathrooms and lobby.
- Work with the Usher Team to straighten chairs and ensure that the auditorium is ready for the next service.
- Work with facilities staff to fix minor building issues and help with special projects to better the building.

Greeting
Everyone knows that first impressions are extremely important, and, as part of the Greeting Team, you’ll be leading the charge making sure everyone feels welcomed, loved, and excited for service!

Position Tasks
- Greet guests with a high-five, handshake, fist bump, or whatever gesture fits your style!
- Help guide people to the front entrance and answer any initial questions they might have before entering in the building.
- Coordinate with Parking Team to ensure that guests follow parking lot rules and regulations to safely enter the church building.
- Dance well with signs, in costumes, or with the occasional cookie tray in hand.

Merch
Merch Team Members help in interacting with and creating a warm and friendly guest experience for attendees, while sending our family into our city with Red Rocks church merch to create culture and open up conversations about our church.

Overflow Team
The Overflow Team have the goal to make every overflow area of our building have the same experience as the auditorium. They are the tour guides and captains of taking guests to a comfortable environment to worship.

- Coordinate with Campus Tech staff to ensure A/V is setup accordingly

Parking
As part of the Parking Team, you will be the first face that incoming attendees will see! So not only do you need to smile and wave, but you’re in charge of making sure the people park legally, pedestrians get in the building safely, and that people don’t crash into each other.

- Monitor and direct traffic to ensure cars get from the busy streets to the parking lot.
- Manage areas of the parking lot so that all parking spots are full and parked legally.
- Coordinate walkways so that attendees can walk inside safely.
- Communicate with other parking team members to ensure that all spots are filled and that the humans are safe.

Prayer
The Prayer Team is all about people; praying for them in the moment and beyond. If you find yourself spending your prayer time always bringing up others, then this team is for you!

Position Tasks
- Pray for and with attendees after service in designated prayer areas in auditorium.
- Pray for others throughout the week using online RRC Prayer Portal.
- Provide resources to attendees after prayer as needed (RRC resources, counselors, food banks, shelters etc.)
- Work with Prayer Team Lead to attend out-of-service prayer requests (campus prayer nights, hospital visits, funerals, etc)

- Prayer Team Interview & Application with Campus Lead and/or Staff, as well as a completed probationary period.

Safety & Medical Team
If you binge watch all the latest crime shows and can keep cool under pressure, then you’re a perfect (fingerprint) match for the Safety Response Team.

Position Tasks
- Keep your head on a swivel and quickly determine the threat level for potential security issues.
- Manage active threats by leaning on previous training and support from your other Safety Response Team members.
- Document safety incidents and provide reports to campus staff and other Safety Response Team leaders (who, what, when, where, and why of the situation.)
- Support and communicate with staff during campus emergencies.
- Lead and assist attendees in evacuation protocols when needed.

Usher
The Usher Team is like the air traffic control center for the church; they know where everything is, they help people find a seat in service, and they make sure our auditorium operations run smoothly. If you’re ready to help direct the logistics of a service, this is the team for you!

- Manage auditorium flow before, after, and during service and ensure that guests quickly and efficiently find their seats.
- Count and track attendance for service (as well as salvation count when necessary.)
- Coordinate with other Ushers to effectively and efficiently collect offering.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Team to maintain lobby cleanliness by taking out trash and helping clean major spills and messes.
- Organize and clean up auditorium after service to ensure it is ready for the next service.

Kids Greeting
If you’re great with kiddos, but better with parents, then the Red Rocks Kids Greeting Team is the crew for you! You’ll be the first person that families see to help make sure mom, dad, and the kiddos have a great service.

Kids Runner
The Red Rocks Kids Runner Team has the ability to jump in and support in many areas to make a RED ROCKS KIDS service run without a hitch. If you want to be a part of a team where everyday looks different, then this is the team for you!

Kids Pre-K
If shaking hands and holding babies is your forte, then the Red Rocks Kids Pre-K Room Team is for you! Help the little ones (and their parents) of Red Rocks Church feel loved, welcomed, and ready for service.

Kids Elementary
God calls us to have childlike faith, so why not have some fun and act like kids while following Christ? If you’ve got the energy and the joy, joy, joy, joy down in your heart (where?!), then Red Rocks Kids Elementary Room Team is your fit.

Special Needs Buddy
Our volunteer Buddies receive specific training to prepare them to support an individual with special needs. Buddies are held to a high standard and go above and beyond to adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and regular ministry policies. Our team of Buddies are passionate about serving alongside this incredible population and do so with excellence.

Youth
If you had a time machine and wanted to change your middle or high school self, we can’t help you; but you can help out the upcoming generation find Christ and live fully for Him by partnering with our Red Rocks Youth ministry! (Leader positions available for 6th-12th grade, single-gender male & female groups, as well as many other serving opportunities.)
Production
Serve by operating the technology used to stream and record our weekend services.

Camera Operator
When you’re watching a movie, are you more excited for the well timed transitions and panning of the camera angle? Then you’re a match with becoming the next Camera Operator at RRC.

- Operate a handheld camera or a mounted camera throughout worship and the message.
- Find and create unique and engaging camera views to create the best footage.
- Support and adhere to the direction of the Video Director.
- Help maintain camera care by putting away and wrapping cables.

Graphics Operator
Do you catch yourself tapping your toes to the beat of a song? Or do you have the uncanny ability to memorize a song after one listen? Join the Production Team as a ProPresenter and help keep everyone (band included) on beat and on the right lyric!

Lighting Operator
As the Lighting Operator, you’ll be the master maestro dictating the look and feel for lighting elements during worship and the message (aka if you’ve ever wanted to be the master of a firework show, this position is for you!)

Worship
Audition to serve on one of our campus worship teams for weekend services, special events, or Youth ministry nights.
Attending Welcome Party is the first requirement for anyone interested in auditioning for our worship team.

Worship
Our worship team creates time and space to encounter the Presence of God at our weekend gatherings and also at our Red Rocks Youth and Red Rocks Young Adults events. Our heart is to glorify God with excellent musical expression.
Non-Sunday
Serve in various capacities throughout the week that are not weekend-service specific.

Correctional Facilities
Join us and volunteer at one of our partnering prisons as we stream the weekend message and worship experience. GBB offers opportunities for recovery from addiction, resources for re-entry into society, and ongoing support after release.

Groups Leader
Groups are at the heart of community here at Red Rocks Church! Group Leaders create community with a small group of people by meeting with them, praying with them, and engaging with their lives.
You can become a Group Leader in a variety of ways, through leading a Home Group (which meets regularly at your home), a Freestyle Group (which meets anywhere, while doing something that you love), or an Online Group (which meets with individuals around the country/world).

- Host and organize consistent group studies (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Direct and lead topical discussions using Red Rocks Church service information.
- Engage everyone in your group to ensure positive group experience for all and manage conflict between group members.
- Meet and mentor with members outside of scheduled group meetings for support or to raise up other leaders.
- Attend leadership trainings hosted by RRC staff.

Serving opportunities in our sports ministry includes things like officiating games, helping with set-up/tear-down, becoming a team captain, scorekeeping, or facilitating sports leagues and classes!
