Brian Zibell, also known as “BZ,” is part of the Directional Leadership Team at Red Rocks Church and is the acting Littleton Campus Pastor. Brian, Shawn Johnson, and Eric Parks all got their start in ministry as leaders working with high school and college students in Rockford, IL. Brian received his undergraduate degree in Christian Education from Northwestern Bible College with a minor in Biblical Studies. BZ’s previous ministry experience includes starting and leading a Young Adults ministry, and then later working in Student Ministry at both Willow Creek Community Church and at Coast Hills Community Church in Southern California.
Brian moved to Denver shortly before the start of Red Rocks Church and worked as a financial advisor. Brian and his wife Kelly were part of the initial team that launched Red Rocks Church, along with Shawn Johnson, Scott Bruegman, and Chad Bruegman, in the back corner of Heritage Square. The rest is history! In addition to serving as the acting Campus Pastor for the Littleton Campus, Brian is the Group Life Director for Red Rocks Church and has a passion to get people connected in community. Brian and his wife Kelly live in Littleton and they have two amazing girls. They love skiing, riding horses, and chasing after their overly-excitable Irish Setter named “Birdie,” who has a tendency to get herself into trouble!
