Arvada High School is the most under-resourced high school in Arvada and it serves some of the community’s poorest families. The Family Resource Center was created to help those families with basic needs such as food and clothing.

BeyondHome offers a comprehensive approach for families to become self-sufficient for life. At BeyondHome, families work hard to achieve personalized goals for their education, housing, finances, and family.

Colorado Uplift is focused on building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth. They do this by employing a holistic approach to meet each student’s needs. This means full-time, salaried teacher-mentors, year-round programming, cross-age mentoring, and a long-term relational approach in five areas: In-School, After-School, Adventure, Post-Secondary, and Advanced Leadership.

Denver Dream Center’s vision is to bring hope to the hopeless. They are a community of resilient people whose lives have been redeemed by God’s love; who share that love with others to transform and restore broken lives to wholeness.

Kitchen One for One is a non-profit food truck that raises money through donations to feed the homeless and impoverished members of the Denver community.

Hope House is metro-Denver’s only resource providing free self-sufficiency programs to parenting teen moms, including Residential, High School & GED, and College & Career Programs.

Inner City Health Center is a Christ centered healthcare home focused on reducing the inequity of health and wellness access and delivery in underserved populations of Denver and the surrounding metro area.

Mission Arvada is a ministry at The Rising Church that seeks to minister to the poor, hurting, addicted, marginalized, and homeless of the local community.
