Coronavirus Relief Efforts

So far, over $300,000 has been donated to help support hospitals and non-profits.

Red Rocks Church is committed to helping local and international organizations, clinics, and hospitals that are on the frontlines helping those most impacted by the Coronavirus, along with helping meet the ever-increasing needs and requests for assistance from our own church community.

Thank you to all of you who faithfully give to Red Rocks Church and who give to all that God is doing both locally and internationally. Because of your generosity and faithfulness, we have been able to support those on the frontlines of this pandemic. Our Coronavirus Relief Efforts are truly a demonstration of God’s love in action to so many organizations, clinics, hospitals, first responders, nonprofits, and thousands of families facing food insecurities and serious life issues due to the virus.

As our Leadership Team continues to communicate with government officials, medical experts, local and international nonprofits and ministry leaders, we have the ability to direct our giving weekly to the most urgent needs within our community and world. This gives our team the ability to pivot in real-time, as the community’s needs change during this challenging season.

Thank you to everyone who gave directly to our “Coronavirus Relief Fund.” We will continue to feature stories of how your giving is making a difference each week on this page. 100% of all donations given directly to the Relief Fund through May 1, 2020 will continue to support our local relief partners listed, as well as new developing nonprofit relationships and working to meet the growing requests for assistance within our own church community. Due to the huge show of support and the funds raised, the Relief Fund will be able to help support clinics, hospitals, and nonprofits as they continue to provide assistance to those who need it.

As we continue to support organizations with the Relief Fund donations received prior to May 1, our focus is now expanding to our church’s role in continuing care for individuals and families, our communities, and the global church. While donations are no longer being accepted for the Coronavirus Relief Fund, all ongoing giving will be used by Red Rocks Church to continue to focus on making Heaven more crowded while partnering with nonprofits and ministries all over the world.

Thanks to you…

Thanks to the generous help of the Red Rocks Church community, we have already been able to send immediate support to the following hospitals and organizations:

Hope Haven Rwanda

Hope Haven Rwanda

Red Rocks Church has been privileged to partner with Hope Haven Rwanda for many years and we’ve recently expanded our partnership to help feed families who have lost income due to Covid-19. Throughout the pandemic, Hope Haven is supporting their Rwandan community by distributing food to families facing starvation. $30 feeds a family for 2 weeks in Rwanda and Red Rocks Church was able to donate $30,000 to Hope Haven, which goes directly toward feeding as many families as possible.

Hospitals and Clinics

Donations have paid for emergency quarantine housing for doctors or nurses who need it, meals, mental health counseling, childcare assistance for healthcare workers, and personal protective equipment.

Hope Haven Rwanda

Swedish Medical Center

Your donations helped provide snacks, beverages, and coffee to the Emergency Room department at Swedish Medical Center. Pictured here is a member of the Red Rocks Church family who is on staff there, and was so overwhelmed by your generosity to his team!

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Red Rocks Church has been a long-time supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and through the Coronavirus Relief Fund, we were able to continue this support to those with cancer and compromised immune systems by contributing to their medication and medical assistance. Currently the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are conducting testing and research for the treatment of Covid-19 in blood cancer patients.

Food Assistance

Your donations have paid for meals for students who typically rely on free meals through their school and as meals for individuals experiencing homelessness.
