In this part of the Go Change the World section you will find resources and practices to empower you to GO and make disciples of all nations. To live sent is to live like Jesus who took on humanity and lived among us. As we take part in God’s redemptive mission in the world, we start to become missionaries wherever God has placed us.
Practices
Daily
- Walk around your neighborhood and pray for the families and houses. Be Gospel-Intentional and pray for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with them.
Weekly
- Create daily rhythms that put you in the path of the same people. Go to the same grocery store in your community, stand in the same lane with the same worker. Ask them their name. Get to know them beyond them serving you. Do the same at your local restaurant. Serve in your kids’ schools. Go to the same local park or coffee shop and notice who is there.
Monthly
- Listen to and study the narrative of your neighborhood and city. Ask questions like, what are the cultural, social, age, and economic demographics of your neighborhood? Who are the people in need? What do people love about this neighborhood? Ask about one thing they wish existed in their neighborhood.
