Legacy Team Family,

As we look around at the state of current events, our hearts are heavy. The tragedy of the Evergreen High School shooting in our own backyard, the very public events surrounding Charlie Kirk and all that has followed, and so many other challenges in our world weigh on us deeply. Yet even in the midst of uncertainty and pain, we are reminded of the calling God has placed on us as His church — to be a light in the darkness and a refuge for those in need.

This past week, we have seen that calling lived out for our Evergreen families. Our staff showed up in coffee shops, community gatherings and parking lots to minister and pray with hurting students and families. We handed out coffee and donuts to students and teachers as they returned to gather their belongings. We opened our doors for a prayer night, creating a safe place for our community to process the hurt and trauma together in God’s presence. And just this weekend, Pastor Shawn reminded us that the enemy seeks to use hatred to divide our country and even the church. But we stand united in Christ: steadfast in love, anchored in hope, and committed to one another. Please take a moment to watch as Pastor Shawn addresses those hurting in our nation.

Legacy Team, we are here for you. We are praying for our country, our schools, our children, and our future. This month, we are turning our focus to the Next Generation Lane of Impact, where we are witnessing revival in the generations that follow us. Just this past weekend, we saw over 100 new families across our campuses checking their kids into Kids Ministry, and 268 people attended our welcome parties to take their next steps in getting more involved and advancing the church.

It reminds me of the promise in John 12:32: “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” God is moving in incredible ways through our Kids, Youth, Young Adults, and Internship ministries, and we are honored to witness the fruit of His Spirit at work.

Youth

Red Rocks Registration

This summer, Red Rocks Youth gathered over 700 students for Kingdom Conference, where lives were changed and Jesus moved powerfully. The vision came from Matthew 6:33, seeking God’s Kingdom first. Students encountered hope, peace, joy, and freedom, and 32 students made the decision to follow Jesus for the first time! Pastor Shawn shared a powerful message and led a special leadership session for all Red Rocks Youth volunteers, equipping them to keep pouring into the next generation. Watch a recap of the night below!

Young Adults

At the end of September, the Young Adults Team will host their annual Retreat, with more than 400 young adults. and these retreats have historically been a place of life change, with over 80 salvations each year. To make this experience possible for as many young adults as possible, we are inviting the Legacy Team and our church family to help provide scholarships. The total cost of putting on the retreat and providing scholarships is $80,000. We want to provide as many retreat scholarships as possible because those who apply for scholarships are usually in seasons of transition: fresh out of college, between jobs, or walking through brokenness and hardship, making it difficult to afford the cost of retreat. Your generosity helps remove that barrier, giving them the opportunity to encounter Jesus in a powerful way. If you would like to give towards the retreat, please email legacy@redrockschurch.com, and we’ll ensure that your funds are allocated towards this!

Internship

Red Rocks Registration

The 2025–2026 Internship Class has officially started! We’re excited to welcome 11 interns, including 2 from out of state. Thanks to the generosity of several families in our church and on the Legacy Team, 5 of these interns are in host homes, with a free place to live! Over the next nine months, our interns will be hands-on in all ministries across the church, learning, serving, and making an eternal impact.

Kids

Red Rocks Registration

Families across our Denver campuses are experiencing life change through the impact of Red Rocks Kids. This summer at our Park Meadows campus, we hosted Kids Camp with 213 kids and 80 volunteers serving each day. Many families invited neighbors, friends, and relatives who don’t normally attend church, creating opportunities for kids to encounter Jesus. Every child heard the life-changing truth of the Gospel: that Jesus loves them, is with them, and that they are game changers for Him. For some, it was the very first time they had ever heard this message. We believe seeds were planted, whether or not their families are currently a part of Red Rocks Church.

Connection Opportunities:

Red Rocks at Red Rocks

Red Rocks Registration

We are gathering to spread the gospel, celebrate 20 years as a church family, and record the new Red Rocks Worship Album! Our designated Legacy row sold out in under an hour, what an incredible response! If you weren’t able to get a seat in that section, you can still purchase tickets through the Red Rocks Amphitheatre website in either the reserved or general admission areas. We are also working on a special Legacy Team gathering or entrance experience for the evening to ensure our team can still connect and celebrate together, even if we aren’t all seated in the same row. It’s going to be an unforgettable night of worship, celebration, and community, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

  • Business Leader Groups

Group Launch is coming up on September 20 & 21 at all of our campuses! This fall, we're excited to introduce business-focused small groups at some of our campuses. The following groups are launching:

Called to More: Leading Boldly with Faith in Business - Park Meadows

The purpose of this group is to create a Christ-centered, authentic space for female business owners to gather, grow, and lead with boldness, wisdom, and grace in both their personal and professional lives. Together, we’ll dive into what it looks like to navigate leadership through a biblical lens. Each month will focus on real challenges women face as business owners, with a spiritual foundation that reminds us that we’re not building alone. Each gathering is designed with a blend of scripture, group discussion, follow-up reflection questions and tasks as well as prayer. If you are female business owner or business leader, we'd love to have you join!

    Co-ed Business Leader's Group - Lakewood & Park Meadows

For professionals who influence teams and culture, this group explores the biblical purpose of work and the call to “walk in a manner worthy of your calling” (Ephesians 4:1). Written from jail to a bustling business hub, Paul’s letter to the Ephesians speaks directly to leaders in the marketplace. We’ll learn through Scripture, real-world case studies (founders/companies), and mutual mentorship—because when a leader gets better, everyone wins.

Business With the Bible - Park Meadows

Business with the Bible is a small group for entrepreneurs and business owners who want to grow with God at the center. Together, we mastermind modern business challenges, collaborate on abundance mindset, and bring our faith into the community through action and prayer.

This Fall is filled with so many opportunities to connect and celebrate all that God is doing through our church. Thank you for faithfully investing in His Kingdom and empowering the next generation of leaders!
