Good Morning, Legacy Team!

We hope you had a fun and safe weekend celebrating Independence Day!

It’s been three months since our Vision Dinner, and we wanted to share a few updates from the Building & Expansion lane of impact.

At the dinner, we outlined several campus projects, debt reduction goals, and the possibility of a future campus launch. If you are curious about what is happening at your specific location, we encourage you to connect with your Campus Pastor!

We also want to remind you that RSVPs are still open for the upcoming Legacy Prayer Walk! We believe God will move as we walk and pray with intentionality, asking Him to open doors for our church in our cities. After the walk, we’d love for you to stick around for a time of grilling and connecting with other Legacy Team members.

As always, we are grateful to be in this together. We are praying for you and cheering you on this summer! If you need anything, or if there is a way we can pray for you specifically, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team.

Building & Expansion Updates

At the Vision Dinner, Brian Zibell reminded us that while homeownership is a gift, it also comes with responsibility…things break, repairs get expensive, and remodel projects always seem to pop up. But we take on these burdens with joy, because they serve one purpose: to care for the family.

The same is true with our church buildings. We want every space to be excellent, functional, inviting, and ready to meet the needs of our church family and the prodigals we are preparing to welcome home. That said, across our four Denver-based campuses, we have completed 13 capital expense projects this year totaling $343,083.60. Here is a look at the projects that we asked the Legacy Team to help fund:

Arvada Campus

  • Roof Replacement and Re-Design ($150,000): Approved and awaiting final renderings. This project will resolve water leaks in our kids' spaces and modernize the building’s exterior, transforming the old dental office facade into a more inviting front porch for prodigals.
  • Auditorium Floor Lighting ($50,000): This project is currently on hold until the roof work is finalized.
  • Lakewood Campus

  • Audio System Overhaul ($350,000): Approved. The buildout is scheduled to begin this fall. We are actively working with our audio partners to secure high-quality equipment at the best possible value. To date, $133,977.20 has been given toward the purchase of audio equipment.
  • Sidewalk Repairs ($50,000): The project is underway, thanks to the contribution of gifted services from a Legacy Team family business.
  • Littleton Campus

  • Elevator System Upgrade ($150,000): Completed under budget at $144,000. This project ensures compliance and improved reliability.
  • Office and Meeting Space Buildout ($2.3 million): Currently in progress. Originally estimated at $1.6 million, the cost has increased due to tariffs and rising prices of metal and HVAC materials. The Littleton Campus houses our central ministries, including Worship, Facilities, Care, Legacy, Outreach, Kids, and Finance. With pastoral meetings, writing sessions, board meetings, and student leadership—just to name a few—we are quite literally out of space and ready for this expansion.
  • Park Meadows Campus

  • Access Control and Security Camera Upgrade ($55,000): Completed. This prompted a broader evaluation of our safety systems, and we are actively working to enhance security across all campuses.
  • Landscape and Waterway Project: Currently halfway completed. The ditch mentioned at the Vision Dinner has been addressed costing $35,450.00, and we are now gathering bids for the landscape installation.
  • New Campus Update

Many of you have asked about our progress on a new location. We are actively looking. Our team is currently exploring approximately 10 properties across the Denver Metro Area, including options to purchase land or acquire an existing building. We are praying, researching, and staying ready for when the right door opens.

Thank you for praying, giving, and believing with us. If you have any questions or want to hear more about what’s happening at your campus, we encourage you to connect with your Campus Pastor.

    Connection Opportunities

    Prayer Walk Graphic

Join Pastor Jill Johnson as she leads the Legacy Team on a Prayer Walk as we intentionally seek God’s guidance for our next campus location in an area He might be leading us into. As we walk together, we’ll pause at key points to pray for vision, community, the next generation, provision, and to thank God in faith for what He’s already doing. This is a powerful opportunity to walk, listen, and pray over developing neighborhoods, local schools, and future spaces—believing that God will open doors and provide the right place at the right time. Let’s come together in unity to pray, look, and give as we step forward in faith. After the walk concludes feel free to join us to grill and have some summer treats!

Become a Host Home for an Intern

Each fall, we welcome a new class of full-time interns for a nine-month season of hands-on ministry training. Many come from out of town and need a place to live from early August through May. We’re looking for generous families or individuals willing to host an intern rent-free. A basement or private bedroom—and ideally a private bathroom—are the requirements we are looking for. With packed church schedules, interns mainly need a quiet space to rest and recharge. If this opportunity stirs your heart or you would like to learn more, please fill out this form, or reach out to Emma Schalberg at emmas@redrockschurch.com.

Thank you for being a part of what God is doing through this team!
