Support Groups

There are specific events in life that are not meant to be navigated alone. We believe in the power and effectiveness of community and the Holy Spirit’s divine interaction wherever two or more are gathered. Our church often says we are a bunch of messed up people pursuing a perfect God. With this in mind, our Groups and Care ministries have come together to offer support groups.

These groups will be a blend of community and group life, with an emphasis on healing from an array of issues including sexual abuse, mental illness, divorce, and more. Let’s heal together, and find our hope pursuing Jesus Christ and His plans for our future. See below to learn more about each individual group currently being offered and to register. If the group you are looking for is closed, groups typically relaunch every Fall and Spring. Please email [email protected] for immediate resources or support.

Advancing Warriors Tribe

Support for Combat Veterans and First Responders

“Tribe” is an 8-week group that explores how God’s word applies to challenges from the military, front line duty, and other areas of life and provides practical tools to address the situation. Find God’s truth, community, and hope together with others who can relate to you as veterans and first responders, and have been through similar experiences. Tribe is led by active & retired military or first responders, and is open to all veterans, military members, and first responders.

Breaking the Silence

Women Survivors of Sexual Abuse

Spring 2021 — Group Full

Perhaps you know this truth well, are learning it, or haven’t ever thought something like this before, but take comfort in the fact that Jesus Christ is FOR us and is constantly finding ways to communicate his vast love towards us. He is a healer and redeems our stories, through tough times. Jesus is able to go with us back into our memories, heal them, and allows us to walk forward in love and peace. This group exists to impart hope, healing, and victory over the scars left behind from sexual abuse. Join alongside other women seeking restoration from a sexual abuse encounter, build friendships, and enjoy genuine companionship over studying the bible. All levels of healing welcome.

  • Time: 7—8pm
  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Location: Littleton area

Fall 2021 – Registration Open

Have you recently lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend? You have probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have questions about things you have never faced before. GriefShare is a Christ-centered thirteen-week grief work program, focused on helping people understand their grief and move forward again. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each of the thirteen weekly sessions combines video teaching with small group discussion. These video seminars address the emotional, spiritual and practical needs of those in grief. Within life, one may experience other types of loss, which create feelings of grief; the loss of a job, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or leaving friends behind because of a move are a few different examples. The grief caused from these experiences is real; however, it is not the kind of grief discussed in Griefshare.
