Support Groups

Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
— Proverbs 11:14 NKJV

There are specific events in life that are not meant to be navigated alone. We believe in the power and effectiveness of community and the Holy Spirit’s divine interaction wherever two or more are gathered. With this in mind, our Groups and Care ministries have come together to offer support groups.

These groups are a blend of community and group life, with an emphasis on healing from an array of issues including sexual abuse, mental illness, divorce, and more. Let’s heal together, and find our hope pursuing Jesus Christ and His plans for our future. See below to learn more about each individual group currently being offered and to register. If the group you are looking for is closed, groups typically relaunch every Fall and Spring. Please email for immediate resources or support.

Have you recently lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend? You have probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have questions about things you have never faced before. GriefShare is a Christ-centered thirteen-week grief work program, focused on helping people understand their grief and move forward again. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each of the thirteen weekly sessions combines video teaching with small group discussion. These video seminars address the emotional, spiritual and practical needs of those in grief. Within life, one may experience other types of loss, which create feelings of grief; the loss of a job, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or leaving friends behind because of a move are a few different examples. The grief caused from these experiences is real; however, it is not the kind of grief discussed in Griefshare.
